Anoop Watts
Anoop is a qualified Teacher with a diverse range of experience in education both within the state and private sectors.
His first teaching post was in a special school where he supported students across all key stages with both curricular and community-based projects. He then dedicated nine years teaching in a secondary school with a number of managerial and senior responsibilities. During this time, Anoop became a prominent figure within the city known for supporting community cohesion and diversity led projects that rapidly received recognition across the country. He is also the founder of a ground breaking project entitled "International Dimensions". Over a period of four years it:
- Flew a cohort of students to India, Dubai and Spain on six different occasions, and
- Hosted international students from extremely impoverished backgrounds on visits to his school in the UK.
The British Council funded and supported this project and published a case study on it.
In 2012, Anoop moved into a consultancy role and in 2014 he became Director of International Recruitment. He spent over six years living in Asia. In this time he worked in over forty countries to provide advice, support and education consultancy for international schools and families.
In 2018, Anoop formed his own company which today provides education consultancy for school improvement utilising his expertise, experience and above all, his burning desire and hope to see young people regardless of their background or country, enjoy and thrive in learning whilst feeling safe and protected. He continues to offer consultancy services independently or in partnership with Alder Advice.
